October is often associated with the gorgeous gold, orange, and red hues of autumn. But it’s also the time of year to think pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Over the last 15 years, there have been amazing strides made in both detection and treatment of breast cancer. However, there is still a long way to go and every bit of support can make a difference, no matter how small.
According to BreastCancer.org:
  • About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.
  • For women in the U.S., breast cancer death rates are higher than those for any other cancer, besides lung cancer.
  • Besides skin cancer, breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among American women. In 2015, it’s estimated that just under 30% of newly diagnosed cancers in women will be breast cancers.

Since 2005, our parent company Harland Clarke has donated more than $240,000 to the Breast Cancer Network of Strength and the Cancer Therapy and Research Center – and we’re not done yet!
As a proud supporter of breast cancer research, we’re going pink with our best-selling pink paper products. Make a purchase from the Go Pink section of Expressionery.com during the month of October, and 10% of your total will be donated to the Cancer Therapy and Research Center. Plus, you can save 30% on all pink products using the code PINK30.
The staff at Expressionery is extremely passionate about this cause. Some of our longtime employees are breast cancer survivors, and many of us here have been touched in some way by the disease. Know that when you shop for stationery and stamps this month, you are helping with the fight. We can’t thank you enough.
